DPMX Media Lab exists to make sure the next generation of athletes doesn't have to figure it out alone.
I'm David Pulley Jr. Professional Supercross privateer, founder of DPMX Media Lab, and the person behind Athlete Brand Launchpad.
Five years ago, I looked at my life and saw the gap most privateers pretend doesn't exist.
I had followers. I had wins. I had industry respect on the local level. What I didn't have was a business.
No sponsor deck. No pricing framework. No email list. No system for turning attention into revenue. Every year I was one injury away from broke, and I didn't have a plan for what came next.
So I stopped waiting.
I taught myself the parts nobody teaches athletes — sponsor decks, ROI math, sales calls, cold email, deck design, contract structure, negotiation. Mostly by getting told no. A lot.
Then I closed the first title sponsor — as a privateer, not through an agency. Then I launched a 28-episode documentary series on OFTV. Then I grew a 129K audience while running a full professional Supercross program from zero.
Then I looked around and realized every athlete I talked to was five years behind — for the same reason I had been. Nobody was teaching this.
So I built it.
DPMX Media Lab exists to help athletes build businesses that outlast their athletic careers.
Not agencies. Not "coaching." Not viral hacks.
The actual systems, assets, and operating discipline that turn a following into a business — the same ones I use to run mine.
If in five years, ten athletes I've never met tell me the Athlete Brand Launchpad is the reason they built a real business — I've done my job.
